Anticoagulation therapy can preventing thrombosis.Dabigatran etexilate is a novel oral anticoagulant prodrug direct thrombin inhibitor used in the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism among patients with nonvalvular arterial fibrillation.However,interindividual variability exists in blood concentrations of Dabigatran.In this paper,we review recent progress about genetic polymorphisms determinanting Dabigatran plasma levels.
