Polysubstituted allylic amine, ( Z ) -1,3-diphenyl-N, 2-ditosyl-2, 5-hexadiene-1-amine (1), was synthesized by the three component tandem reaction of allylmagnesium bromide, 1-phenyl- 2-(p-tosyl) ethyne and N-benzylidene-4-methylbenzenesulfonamide. The structure was characterized by l H NMR, IR, MS, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis.
