In order to determine the speed limits of highway on foggy weather, the article describes the conditions for safe driving of vehicles.It also provides analysis of the traditional speed limit models based on sight distance of stopping and traffic signs and shortcomings of existing models.It proposes a combined model of speed limit on foggy weather, defined model＇s parameters and Optimistic and pessimistic analysis of this model results is performed.Finally, the results of each model were compared, and put forward some safety measures after analyzed the scope of application and characteristics of different models, which had a theoretical significance on the speed limit of highway on the foggy weather.
