On the basis of the fieldwork methods,this paper analyzes the present situation of venture capital institutions（VCI） in Hubei,finds out that compared with the developed coastal areas,there is a gap between them,and points out that the main influnential factors involve the following：the monotony structure of the capital sources,small investment and lack of professionals.Finally,the paper gives some advices to develop the VCI.They can cooperate with provincial incubator,merger with local venture institutions,join with foreign venture institutions,and cooperate with the provincial entity enterprise to develop VCI in Hubei.
