＂Regional green space planning＂ would be the hot issue in Chinese landscape architecture in the 21st cen- tury. With the urbanization rate more than 50%, the regional green space planning will be conducive to integrated ur- ban and rural development, ecological city building and the expansion of regional competition. This paper concluded four models of the regional green space planning practices ： ecological control line, regional greenway network, region- al greenheart and green infrastructures, and introspected and summarized Chinese modern regional green space plan- ning practices.
