The principle - agent＇ competitiveness is the important factors that influence the contract design and reward. The paper assesses the research projects progress of principal agent＇s competitiveness and reward - related contract, and points out development trend of future research in the field along the clues of principal agent＇s possession of property and contract reward distribution, governance mechanisms＇ competitive binding and contract distribution to principal agent, asymmetric information and the principal agent＇s competitive and contract distribution, and the principal agent＇s personal characteristics as well as contracts reward imbalance.
