Objective：To study the intestinal mechanism of Huoxiang Zhengqi Liquid（HZL）.Method：The spontaneous contraction of colonic muscle from mice was studied using muscle tension measurement technique.Result：The spontaneous contraction of the muscle caused by CCH or KCl was inhibited by the HZL.ConclusionThe inhibition of spontaneous muscle contraction is related with inhibition of Ca^2 ＋ channel.
