With the development of the application of Geographic Information Systems in each step of life, the sharing of multi - source and heterogeneous spatial data becomes a necessary need. First we analyze the applied status quo of spatial data in Spatial Information Grid （SIG） ,then deeply discusse the study and design of spatial data sharing proxy in SIG and introduce an effective and efficient solution for the sharing of non OpenGIS--standard heterogeneous spatial data.
