Not meaning to protest against the government, the PX Event around China directly expressed public demands after some local government＇s misconduct. It is substantially a political issue. The fundamental reason is that the public did not get the necessary political identity. Firstly, proper political identity had been weakened. Secondly, for the risk of the PX project, weakened and virtual political identity caused identification anxiety. Finally, because the existing management system could not fully correct the identification anxiety, the public regarded the PX Event as an approach to seeking identity and eliminating identification anxiety. In order to handle the PX Event, We should build a multi-governance management system as the platform of political identity, seeing information interaction as the basis of political identity, develop the social organization as a carrier for the expression of political identity, and make the rule of law as the channel for political identity.
