英文摘要：

The research progress of engineering ropeway technology and equipment in China,including the development and research on winches,carriages and ropeway attachment,is stated.Priority is given to the five technical parameters of a winch,four working mechanisms of a carriage and application effect of various kinds of engineering ropeway.The development trend and application prospect of engineering technology and equipment in such hoisting operations as timber skidding,water resources and hydropower,highway bridges,civil construction and so on,are pointed out.
