英文摘要：

The Manas River is the largest river in the north margin of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang.Plain zone of Manas river is located on the north of folded hills and alluvial fans of Tianshan Mountains.It is also in the middle of the Zhungaer Baisn.Based on the boreholes data,the law of Quaternary strata in horizontal direction and vertical direction was studied.Combined with folded hills and alluvial fans evolution history,the history of plain and meander channel zone of Manas river was discussed.The results indicated that the history of plain and meander channel zone of Manas river is mainly affected by the folded hills extending and subsidence centers moving towards north about 10~30km.
