This paper empirically analyzes the factors affecting the well off under the new countryside building of west minority pastoral area based on the survey in eight counties of Sichuan, Gansu and Qinghai province. It finds that educational level, per capita income, expenditure, drinking water source , traffic, medical and health etc are major forces influencing the well off by using binary Logit model . On the basis of these, it offers some corresponding suggestions.
