The anatase TiO2 particles and TiO2 fibers were prepared by sol-gel method and hydrothermal method, respectively. Their catalytic properties were measured by RhB degradation under visible-light irradiation. The results indicate that the catalytic property of TiO2 particles is better than that of TiO2 fibers. A series of Fe were in-situ composed by sol-gel to increase the catalytic property of TiO2 particles. The results of RhB degradation under visible-light Irradiation show that the degradation ratio of TiO2 : 1% Fe is 10% higher than that of pure TiO2. Moreover, the analyses of SEM and EDS display that the TiO2 : 1% Fe sample exhibits particle-shape and is composed of Ti,O and Fe elements.
