Optimal operation is critical for micro-grid economic and environmental benefits, and the flexiblecontrol of energy storage systems is the core for achieving optimal operation. This paper reviewed studies on theeconomic optimization of micro-grid operation, mainly discussed a variety of dynamic optimization objective functionsand its treatment. The various constraints of micro-grid system and CCHP ( combined cooling, heating and power)system were described. The micro-grid energy storage system model and its optimization strategy were focused on.The micro-grid economic optimization operation which considers the demand-side management was analyzed. Theelectric vehicles as a demand-side resource being introduced into the micro-grid economic optimization operationwas discussed. Finally, the future research was prospected.
