Let F be a family of meromorphic functions defined in a domain D, ψ(z) ≠0 be a holomorphic function in D and k be a positive integer. If for each f∈ F with f≠0, for each pair of functions f and g in F, f〈k(k) and g(k) share ψ(z) in D, then F is normal in D, which improves a result obtained by Xu Yan in 2010.
