As the birthplace of OFDI reverse technology spillover effect, host country＇s heterogeneity affects the costs and efficiency of investment business to obtain technology spillover. Using 48 host countries cross-section panel data, we examine the impacts of host country＇s characteristics on reverse technology spillover effect. The paper provides a new perspective for Chinese enterprises to analyze the investment objectives for obtaining technology and measurement of reducing investment risk in details, and aso provides scientific decision basis and suggestion for Chinese enterprises to select suitable nations or districts of technology- searching FDI.
