The average income may decrease because of international financial crisis. However, the income of farmer may decrease more seriously because of the unsymmetrical loss. We research the issue using the case of China during the period of Asian Financial Crisis. The paper finds out that the crisis cut down the increase rate of wages when the migrant workers were fired and went back to their hometown. The earning from household management is also decrease when the impact from financial crisis spread to the agriculture sector. The fluxion of home-going migrant workers breaks off the normal course of urbanization, which makes the farmer difficult to share the earning of urbanization and industrialization. In addition, the factors such as the decrease of the availability of tinance service, the damage and loss of human capital, the frangibility of safety net also contribute to the rapid decease of farmers' income compared with the urban dweller in the period of Asian Financial Crisis.
