The current status of ceramifying composites,and the mechanism of ceramifying process were summarized.Mineral fillers such as mica wollastonite and clay and fluxing agents such as glass frit,boron oxide and zinc borate were added into polymer materials to form ceramifying composites,and the influence of mineral fillers and fluxing agents on the structure and properties of ceramifying composites was reviewed.The application prospect of ceramifying composites was proposed.
