In order to improve computation speed, a parallelized F-K program was built to utilize the multiple CPU PC-Clusters. By comparison it was found that the parallelized program can greatly expedite computation. For a complicated model, parallel F-K computation speed is almost proportional to the number of the processors. This method provides a more convenient tool for inversion of source parameters and underground structures.
