Experiments of temptation resisting situations are undertaken in the study to observe the effects of reputation on transgression behavior of 6-year-old children. It shows that children's transgression behaviors decreased significantly under the reputation conditions compared with non-reputation condition. But there are no notable difference among the three reputation conditions, namely, reputation assessment from peers, current teachers and former teachers. The findings indicate that reputation significantly affect children's behavior; children at this age start to value their reputation and try to maintain positive reputation among peers and teachers by reducin~ or delavin~ their transaression behaviors_
