The feedstock properties and theologic properties of MIM and PIM are compared. The MIM feedstock is mixed by iron powder (98wt%), nickle powder (2wt%) and binders. The powder loadage is 58vo1%. It shows that the MIM feedstock has higher density, higher heat-conductivity coefficient and lower specific thermal capacity compared to PIM feedstock. Compared to ABS, the MIM feedstock has higher sensitive degree to temperature and lower sensitive degree to cutting speed.
