In recent years, the inflow of SFDI in China＇s three major urban agglomerations has maintained a strong momentum of growth, and a large number of SFDI flowing into the urban ag-glomerations will also have a significant impact on economic growth. Under this background, based on the analysis of present situation of three major urban agglomerations, using the provincial penal data, I make a comparative research on the economic effect of introducing SFDI in three major urban agglomerations. It shows that the inflow of SFDI moved northward. Bohai rim has caught up with the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and rank the first place among the three major urban agglomerations. The employment effect of three urban agglomerations is significant. The SFDI eco-nomic effect of Bohai rim is the most durable. The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is the second, and then that of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration is the most instant.
