Objective To separate flavonol and flavanonol by the column chromatography of polyamide.Methods Flavonol and flavanonol were separated by the column chromatography of polyamide, and identified by UV and IR spectrophotometry. Results Pure flavonol and flavanonol were obtained by the column chromatography of polyamide. Conclusion A stable and convenient method for separating flavonol and flavanonol is developed.
