It is one of the most important strategy to discover novel anti-tumour drugs based on apoptosis mechanism. This review will highlight recent advances on the design and development of novel anti-tumour drugs targeting the death receptors,Bcl-2 family proteins,inhibitor of apoptosis proteins and MDM2 protein in the apoptosis pathway.
