According to the characteristics of emergent public health event,the paper has designed a mobile Geographic Intbrmation System（GIS） hased on Personal Digital Assistant（ PDA ）.The system integrates the technologies of GPS,GSM anti GPRS, and it can instruct heahhv workers to make epidemiology investigation.At tile same time,the system can implement the fnnetions such as data computation,statistic analysis,spatial analysis hased on data collection.Thus,when public health emergencies break out,it can help to configure social resources more reasonable,support decision making much more scientific,and take reaction in tithe,The system runs steadily and powerfully during working.
