To make the System dynamics（SD） method application used in soil and water resources system, the theory of SD was introduced in, the progress of the system dynamics was described, the research progress and practical significance about the application of soil and water resources simulated, bearing capacity evaluation, optimal allocation, ecological system and combined system were discussed. This paper analyzes the problems existing in many aspects which concludes models, systems and methods. The multi-methodological, multi-angle and the multi-dimensional prospect are used in the direction of future, to make the SD method have a further integration with water and soil resources system, and provide a new way of thinking for the research in the future.
