Investigating the interaction mechanism of metal or metal complex with biomolecule, such as DNA, protein and amino acid,provides a starting point for the diagnosis of metal-induced human disease. In this review, research progress in the past ten year in interaction mechanism of metal complex with biomolecule has been described and the new research methods and breakthrough have been summaried.
