提出一种将二维多元图图形特征映射到三维球面坐标的可视化方法。提取二维多元图中雷达图的面积特征、融合矢量的长度和角度特征,通过球面坐标映射将其有机融合到3D球体空间。对Iris数据集的实验结果表明,该方法具有较高的灵活性,能有力揭示数据结构。
A visualization method is proposed based on mapping two-dimensional graphical feature into three-dimensional space by spherical coordinate. The projection includes two processes. Firstly, three graphical features of star plot are extracted, that are the area, the length and the angle of complex vector. Then, these features as input variables are mapped to a hypothetical sphere in three-dimension space. Results of iris data indicate that the proposed method has higher flexibility and has the merit of exposing the structure of data set.
