The discovery of scale - free network provides people with a brand new thought for the study of complex .network, and the built of the BA model offers us with a good method on the study of complex network. Under the perspective of focal firms, it added de- gree fitness and degree saturation value in the prior joint mechanism of the BA model, to simulate the evolution process of cluster inno- vation network based on focal firms growth, and then to simulate and analyze the characteristics of such cluster innovation network. The research concluded that the cluster innovation network which based on focal firms is a kind of heterogeneous network, and possesses the nature of agglomerate, stable and vulnerable.
