针对乱针绣这一中国传统刺绣工艺的数字化保护和传承问题,为了体现其融绘画与绣法于一体的特色,提出一种乱针绣模拟的参数化生成方法.首先定义了一种乱针绣参数化针法模型,以线条疏密、长度和方向等参数来表示乱针绣生成效果;其次采用图像解析方法提取图像区域,并通过建立各区域的针法模型实现对图像内容的层次化描述;最后通过建立图像矢量场及其非均匀网格与针法模型方向和长度参数间的映射关系来生成乱针绣模拟图像.实验结果表明,该方法能够有效地模拟乱针绣效果.
Irregular needling embroidery is a traditional Chinese embroidery art combining painting and embroidering.In order to protect and inherit it by computers,we present a parametric generation method for irregular needling embroidery rendering.First,a parametric stitch model for irregular needling embroidery is defined,which describes line density,length,and orientation to express the rendering effect.Then an image parsing method is used to extract image regions and a stitch model is constructed for each region to express hierarchical image contents.Finally,the rendering result is generated by mapping image vector fields and non-uniform image grids to orientation and length parameters of the stitch model.Experimental results show that the proposed method can generate irregular needling embroidery rendering effects effectively.
