On the background of Nanchang-Jiujiang integration, Jing＇an county of Jiangxi province, which is near Nanchang and Jiujiang cities and owns and rich in forestry resources, provides the back garden for the cities＇ residents. And the third industry of forestry has been considered as the key route of achieving forestry sustainable development, which can play very important role in some aspects such as increasing job chances, protecting environment and recovering ecological environment. Based on Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat （SWOT） analysis method, the current status of the third industry of forestry of Jing＇an County was reviewed, and many kinds of factors of superiority, disadvantaged, opportunity and threat in the course of development in the third industry of forestry in Jing＇an county were analyzed, and a SWOT model matrix was constructed. At last, according to the current development status of Nanchang-Jiujiang integration, some countermeasures and opinions about the third industry of forestry serving Nanchang-Jiujiang integration were put forward.
