Taking the TrackRT software as an example, we introduced the data processing method of the real-time high-rate GPS technology. Comparing with seismometry （strong motion）, this technology could obtain the reli- able displacement in long period, effectively remedy the data of seismometry （strong motion） . Then we sys- tematically describe the application methods of real-time high-rate GPS in seismology. It has very important prac- tical meaning for developing real-time hi,h-rate GPS technology in China.
