The structure, properties and the progress status of boracic surfactants were reviewed. Meanwhile,their applications in the fields of antistatic, flame retarding and antiwearing were introduced. With the good characteristics of disinfecting, antiseptic, antiwearing, flame retarding, antistatic, nontoxic, nonpolluting and biodegrading, the prospect of application of the boracic surfactants is promising.
