随着太赫兹辐射源、探测器以及系统技术的进步,基于太赫兹光谱与成像技术的无损检测成为可能。由于太赫兹辐射在大多数介电物质中都是透明的,太赫兹无损检测技术对于检验非导电材料中的隐藏缺陷具有巨大的潜力。这项新技术可以作为现有检验技术的有力补充,并有可能在某些场合发挥不可替代的作用。本文阐述了太赫兹辐射在无损检测领域的应用,概述了太赫兹无损检测的基本原理、特点,介绍了太赫兹无损检测应用研究和理论研究的最新进展。
With recent developments of terahertz source, detector and system technology, nondestructive testing (NDT) based on terahertz spectroscopy and imaging technique has become possible. Because terahertz radiation is transparent for most dielectric materials, terahertz NDT has significant potential in inspecting nonconductive materials for hidden flaws. This emerging technology can be used as a powerful complement for current inspection technolo- gies, and may play an irreplaceable role in some cases. This paper reviews the application of terahertz radiation in NDT. The basic principle and characteristics of terahertz NDT are summarized, and the latest advancements in applied and theoretical researches about terahertz NDT are presented.
