This paper introduces new progresses of feminist housing patterns in the West,and criticizes Chinese traditional housing patterns from a feminist perspective.It selects three districts of Suzhou City,ranging from the historic district to newly developed industrial districts,to identify the characteristics and problems of urban housing patterns and advocates for solutions including transition house,mixed land use and cooperative housekeeping.
