Dongsheng Guard House was the guard house established by the Ming dynasty in Erdos Region.It lasted for a short period,beginning at the forth year of Hongwu and ended at twenty-sixth year of Hongwu.Over this period,the system of guard house became gradually mature.Studies show that two establishments of Dongsheng guard house,though no obvious changes of extend of jurisdiction,had great differences in military systems,production and life of soldiers and civilians in the regions.Due to these differences,this study is of great significance.
