利用NCAR/NCEP再分析温度场资料,分析了E1 Nino/La Nina发生前平流层温度场特征。资料分析清楚地表明:无论是E1 Nino还是La Nina发生前的冬季,中高纬平流层温度场都有显著变化,而且平流层温度变化比对流层温度变化剧烈。平流层温度升高,对应对流层温度降低,东亚寒潮强,强冷空气活动突出,使得赤道东北信风减弱,有利于El Nino事件生成。中高纬平流层温度的变化对E1 Nino的发生有一定的指示意义。
Based on the NCAR/NCEP reanalysis data set, the characteristics of the stratosphere temperature before E1 Nino/La Nina events have been analyzed. The analyses clearly show that the stratosphere temperature over the high-mid latitude area changes significantly and the temperature changes in the stratosphere are stronger than those in the troposphere in the winter before both El Nino/La Nina events, When the temperature in the stratosphere is high, the temperature in the troposphere is low. The cold wave in East Asia is strong, which makes the northeast trade winds weaker and is favorable for the occurrence of E1 nino. The tem-- perature changes in the stratosphere are important indicators predictors of E1 Nino events.
