In the financial tsunami, China＇s financial institutions＇ overseas investment suffered serious losses. Based on hackling the ＂ going abroad＂ motives of inland financial institutions, statistics of the overseas investment losses of inland financial institutions and QDII, since the subOrdinated debt crisis, are given. Finally, some suggestions for inland financial institutions＇ overseas investment are proposed.
