This article in detail summarized effects of environmental factors on biodegradation of lubricating oil Based Pe- troleum in recent years. The environmental factors such as temperature, nutrients, Oxygen, surfactants, pH value and strains were emphatically introduced. Finally, the article gives an outlook for the future study of lubricating oil biodegradation.
