数字加工是人类最重要的认知功能之一,数字加工与语言之间的关系也一直是认知神经科学的研究焦点。本文采用功能磁共振成像技术,通过比较阿拉伯数字和汉语数词对数字大小比较任务加工的影响,考察了语言与数字加工的关系。结果显示,不同语言编码影响了脑内数字处理加工的模式,在以汉语数词为编码的情况下,梭状回的激活显著高于阿拉伯数字为编码的情况,顶叶的激活则弱于以阿拉伯数字为编码的情况。这表明数字加工会受到语言编码的影响,支持了数字加工与语言密切相关的观点。
Numerical processing is one of the most important human cognitive abilities, and the relationship between numerical processing and language ability is a focus in neuroscience. In this paper,fMR/was adopted to explore the effect of using Arabic numerals and Chinese numerals as presented codes on numerical processing mode. The result revealed that different codes affected the number processing mode. Compared with the Arabic numerals task, more activations were found in the fusiform gyrus, while less activations were found in parietal lobe, which was the core region of numerical processing during the Chinese numerals task. The specific role that the fusiform gyrus played in the Chinese numerical processing supported such point of view that numeral processing was closely related to the language ability.
