People living in the Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi area of China would ＂bum a brick tower＂ to celebrate the mid-au- tumn festival. The custom permeated with rich cultural connotations as a part of the mid-autumn ritual. It also refracted from the tradi- tional agricultural society and the historical cultural, while enhanced communication links. This embodies collective memories which help inheritance contemporary culture.
