The historical and cultural heritage of the city walls is one of the most characteristic cultural resources in Chongqing, and it is of great significance and value to the culture communication and tourism development of Chongqing. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the research on the cultural and creative tourism and the ancient city wall, this paper analysed the present situation and problems of the development of the Chongqing city wall. In the cultural and creative tourism perspective, from product innovation, mining culture, marketing, professional talents and the construction of tourism complex, we put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
