针对传统的相控阵雷达存在的高硬件复杂度问题,提出了一种基于多输入多输出(MIMO)技术的相控阵雷达系统(MIMO-LPC).首先建立了MIMO-LPC雷达的信号模型,对MIMO-LPC系统特性进行了分析,在此基础上给出了MIMO-LPC回波相位补偿以及目标检测方法.利用仿真数据对所提出系统和目标检测方法的有效性进行了测试.测试结果表明,采用恒虚警目标检测方法,MIMO-LPC的检测概率与相控阵雷达的检测概率基本相同,从而证实了所提出系统和检测方法的有效性.该系统为减少大型远程相控阵雷达的经济成本提供了一种方法.
This paper aims to the high complexity of hardware existing in the traditional phased array radar and proposes an MIMO technique-based phased array radar system (MIMO-LPC). First, a signal model of MIMO-LPC radar system is established, and the characteristics of the MIMO-LPC system are analyzed, based on which, the echo phase compensation of MIMO-LPC and target detection method are given. By using the simulation data, the effectiveness of the proposed system and its target detection methods are tested in this paper. The test results show that the detection probability of MIMO-LPC is basically the same as that of the phased array radar when using the method of CFAR detection, thereby, proving the availability of the proposed system and its detection method, which presents an approach for reducing the cost of large-type and long-range phased array radar.
