With the increasingly fierce of the energy crisis and environmental pollution, the development of new energy has been val- ued by countries all over the world. Energy agriculture as a form of agriculture to provide raw materials for biomass energy, has been initially developed in our country. In order to further promote the scale development of energy agriculture in China, on the basis of the general idea of the development of energy agriculture, around the rational use of the main producing areas of modem agriculture and marginal land, and according to the growth characteristics of energy crops and energy plants, the top 10 key industries which are suit- able for the development of our country are put forward, which are Sugarcane, Sweet sorghum, Cassava, Rape, Jatropha curcas, Xan- thoceros sorbifolia, Pistacia chinensis, Panicum virgatum, Jerusalem artichoke and Castor, and the next step in the development of en- ergy agriculture tasks are put forward to provide reference for the relevant government departments to develop policies.
