Objective To study pharmacognositic characteristics of Salvia deserta. Methods The plant was i- dentified by methods of morphological identification and microscopic identification. Results The original plant characteristics and micro-characteristics were described and drawn. Conclusions This study may pro- vide the basis for oharmacoenostical identification of the different oarts of Salvia deserta.
