An advanced order promising system based on ATP can help enterprise to increase the accuracy of promising, to fulfill the customer orders, to reduce the lead time of the orders processing, and to improve the customer satisfactory and the enterprise core competitive power. In this article, an advanced ATP system for the Supply Chain(SC-ATP), is designed. Compared with the traditional ATP system, the SC-ATP system has three main modules, which are ATP, CTP and PTP. Firstly the logic relationship among the three modules and their calculation procedures is analyzed,then the CTP algorithm is studied in detail, and finally it is verified by a numerical example. Using the inventory and the vacant production capacity of the whole supply chain for urgent orders form customers, this SC-ATP system can ensure the producer's promise much veracious and reliable.
