There is a debatable problem about the dating sequence of the eolian deposits in the high position in Jiaolai Basin in Shandong Province. We measured the optically stimulated luminescence（ OSL） dating in the eolian deposits of Qianbuxia profile by Risoe DA- 20- C / D OSL measuring instrument. The age results are 26. 9± 3. 6ka,47. 5 ± 1. 6ka,50. 5 ± 1. 9ka B. P. at the depth of 100,220,240 cm of Qianbuxia profile. The similar result also showed in the dating of Xulinzhuang profile which position is 16. 9km away in the north. Therefore,the dating of eolian deposits in Jiaolai Basin are the late quaternary sediments.
