采用光学浮区单晶生长技术制备了Nd1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7单晶,用X线衍射法表征样品的单晶性,用磁性测量和电子自旋共振实验研究其磁性质.磁性测量结果表明:在降温过程中,样品经历了反铁磁转变(TN=100 K);在室温下,电子自旋共振谱线上存在两个共振信号,即铁磁共振峰和顺磁共振峰,并且在顺磁状态下出现少量的铁磁团簇.通过计算g因子,推测了铁磁共振峰和顺磁共振峰的位置.
A single crystal of Nd1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 was grown in flowing air by using a floating-zone optical image furnace.The structure and magnetic properties of the single crystal have been studied by using X-ray diffraction and ESR.With the decrease of temperature,Nd1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 undergoes antiferromagnetic transition at TN=120K.At room temperature,there are two resonance signals in spin spectra,indicating the existence ofthe paramagnetic and ferromagnetic resonance.While some ferromagnetic clusters exist in the paramagnetic state.The line positions of the paramagnetic and ferromagnetic resonance were determined by calculating the g-value.
