通过实验测试,研究掺杂稀土氧化物Nd2O3纳米粒子的聚合物分散液晶(PDLC)在波长为320~400 nm内的电光特性。结果表明,Nd2O3的掺杂可有效地实现PDLC在紫外的电光开关特性。这种掺杂使PDLC在紫外的透过率为零的区域由原来的320~325 nm扩展为320~340 nm左右,同时在波长365 nm附近出现了第2个吸收带,吸收带的宽度随驱动电压的升高而逐渐变窄,吸收峰随驱动电压升高逐渐向短波方向移动,移动的幅度约为1.2~1.5 nm。
The polymer dispersed liquid crystals(PDLCs) doped with neodymium oxide(Nd 2O 3) nanoparticles were prepared.The electro-optic characteristics from 320 nm to 400 nm were tested.The results show that the electro-optic switching characteristics in UV region can be effectively achieved.The strong absorption in UV region increases from 320-325 nm to 320-340 nm.The second absorption band appears near 365 nm,and the band width gradually becomes narrow with voltage rising.The absorption peak moves towards the short wavelength with the voltage increasing by about 1.2-1.5 nm.
