The grassland caterpillar brings alpine grassland serious damage Grassland caterpillar can regu- late the population size by itself according to food supply. Grazing reduces the biomass of vegetation and natural enemies reduce the amount of grassland caterpillar. Based all these factors, dynamic model of grass and grass- land caterpillar was formulated. The theoretical analysis showed that the decreasing of natural enemies may be the reason of grassland caterpillar increasing.
